The 'Jejak Waktu' Exhibition: Stories from Artifacts features a variety of unique artifacts based on each collection theme and in recognition of the participants' noble efforts in preserving valuable artifacts that reflect Brunei's identity and cultural heritage. The exhibition received the participation of seven specially invited individual collectors. The launching ceremony was held on 19th May morning, at the Malay Technology Museum, Kota Batu. The exhibition organised by the Museums Department through the Ethnography Division was held in conjunction with International Museum Day celebrated on 18th of May.
Officiating the exhibition was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji AWANG Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The exhibition was in line with this year's celebration theme: 'The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities'. It aims to raise public awareness on the historical value of private collections, while fostering collective responsibility in preserving the country's heritage for future generations. The exhibition is open to the public for 3 months.
